In October 2008, Moore posted on her website blog live videos of three new songs she's been working on, along with singer-songwritter, pianist and guitarist Mike Viola. It was at first expected to a be a duo album between the two, but then in January 2009, it was revealed it would be a solo album with a collaboration with him, slated for release in May 2009.
Recording sessions for the album took place around December 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts. A video of the experience was posted on the website for Gain, the laundry soap. It can be viewed in their 'First Sniff' section of their website which Mandy has used as a promotional platform for the release of the album. Click Here

Mandy in Brief
Born Amanda Leigh Moore, 10 April 1984, Nashua, New Hampshire, but raised in Orlando, Florida, USA.
One of the big success stories of the US pop charts in 1999, Mandy Moore rose to prominence after touring dates with 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys.
Her debut single, "Candy", sold half a million copies, many of the sales attributable to a promotional website that registered over 100,000 "hits" a day at its peak.
Moore had wanted to be a performer from the age of six, when she sang the hits of the day. By the time she attended a summer musical camp aged nine she was even more convinced about her career prospects:
"My parents thought it was just a phase I"d grow out of, but I stuck to it and begged them for acting and voice lessons. More
